The Challenge
Designed by Hassell, Deloitte’s new Sydney headquarters reimagines the traditional workplace through four interconnected “vertical villages”, each providing distinct environments for collaboration, focused work, client engagement and connection. Across 14 levels and 27,000sqm, the scale and diversity of spaces called for a hardware solution that could respond to different design conditions while maintaining a consistent level of quality throughout.
The Solution
Working alongside MPA and multiple subcontractors, Entro helped refine and resolve a custom hardware package aligned with Hassell’s design intent. Bespoke door handles were developed for the project and executed across a range of powdercoat finishes, including Medium Bronze and Talc, with the broader package encompassing levers, locks, entrance handles, door closers and hinges. Careful coordination helped maintain consistency across the extensive fitout while responding to the individual requirements of each space.
The Outcome
The completed hardware package sits seamlessly within Deloitte’s sophisticated Sydney workplace, complementing its varied material palette while creating a cohesive detail across all 14 levels. The bespoke handles and coordinated finishes become part of the wider architectural language, supporting Hassell’s vision for a workplace that balances quality, flexibility and experience. The result is an integrated hardware solution befitting the scale and refinement of one of Sydney’s landmark workplace projects.
