The Challenge
Designed by PTW, Scape Kingsford responds to the evolving character of the Anzac Parade corridor with a strong sculptural form inspired by the materiality and heritage of the surrounding area. Across hundreds of student rooms, communal spaces and high-traffic shared areas, the architectural hardware needed to withstand the demands of everyday student living while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the development.
The Solution
Working with the project team, Entro developed a coordinated architectural hardware package suited to the scale and varied requirements of the development. Careful product selection, scheduling and coordination helped create consistency across individual residences and shared spaces, while ensuring the hardware could meet the functional and durability requirements of a high-use student accommodation environment.
The Outcome
The completed hardware package provides a cohesive and reliable solution throughout Scape Kingsford, integrating naturally with the building’s contemporary architecture and vibrant interiors. From individual rooms to communal study, dining and social spaces, the hardware supports a consistent experience while meeting the practical demands of a busy student community.
